13. IMM Curve
     
Making flexible pipes and hoses.
                                                                                            




1.    Choose IMM Curve brush.   The icon  looks like a seatbelt.
        Choose a Hose01 from the list.





2.   Drag any object.  It will create a  flexible hose with a control curve.




3.   You can adjust the curve but ti's not easy to control.
     I will show you how to make a nice curve later.
     For now just Undo and delete the hose.

Drag the inside of mechanic parts and create a hose.
     It's hard to adjust a curve so just leave the way it is.
     Click another object to delete the construction curve.



5.  
Separate the new hose from the SubTool.
     SubTool > Split Unmasked Points




6.  
Keep adding horses.
     Click another object to delete the construction curve.

Now I will show you how to make a nice curve.
     
First, crate a Plane3D.

Place the plane where you want add a hose.
     I want to add a hose A to B.



9.  
Now draw a curve on the plane.
   Make sure, don't touch the mechanic part.
   You will see a little gap between the parts and the hose.
   It can be fixed later with the move brush.




10.   
Try InsertCylndrExt brush.





11.    
Separate the new hose from the plane SubTool.
SubTool > Split Unmasked Points





12.  
Add more hoses and flexible pipes.
